Find the adventure.
NITECORE asked me to take their headlamps on summer adventures and photograph them in use. This part of the project brought that brief to the Grand Wall Boulders in Squamish.
The photographs follow the session from attempts on the rock to the quieter moments in between, keeping the headlamps part of the experience.

Real use.
Close views show the headlamp at work. Wider frames hold the climber, the rock and the surrounding darkness.
Pools of light, deep shadows and traces of movement give the collection its atmosphere. Portraits and moments between attempts bring another side of the session into view.
